At Paris Fashion Week in February Kim Kardashian removed her black beanie hat to reveal that she had dyed her hair platinum blonde. The reason why she subjected her hair to all that bleach and months of recovery hair masks? A Vogue cover. Why not risk a few split ends if your face is on Vogue, eh?
It looks like Kim went platinum for the latest body issue of Vogue Brazil, where Kim did a Marilyn with curled white blonde locks. In the editorial, photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth, Kim copied iconic Marilyn images, reclining on a leopard rug in nothing but leather high-gloves and throwing her arms back in a black cropped turtleneck. more after cut ......

Perhaps Kanye West was behind this styling, as he previously said that Kim is the Marilyn Monroe of our time. He said: "Kate Upton ain't Marilyn Monroe, Kim is Marilyn Monroe. You know that. She was controversial; she's controversial."
Riccardo Tisci agrees with Kanye, as he said to The Sunday Times: "I met her as the girlfriend of a good friend. I just wanted a moment with her to understand— and I fell in love. She's the Monroe of our age. People think she's like a doll, but actually she's tough and clever."
