This woman looks after 120 cats and there’s nothing crazy about that

There’s absolutely nothing crazy about keeping 120 rescue cats in your home.

Silvana Valentino-Locke, 55, turned her Kent home into a rescue centre more than 20 years ago, with the blessing of her husband Tony.

She explained that it ‘reached full potential’ in 1998 and became the Romney House Cat Rescue.

She said: ‘Every man who comes to adopt a cat always asks, “have you got a husband?” They can’t believe anyone would tolerate all these cats.A lady can never have too many cats

‘Luckily Tony works long hours so he doesn’t see all the work of caring for them.’

More than 50 cats live inside the house while the others have special cat homes outside.

The mother-of-two spends £500 per week on the daily feeds, and has to change 12 litter trays every day – not to mention the £4,500-a-month veterinary bill.

Now that’s dedication to the cause.
