Dr Ernest Nnaemeka Azudialu Obiejesi, a silent billionaire and chairman of Nestoil Plc, one of the biggest indigenous oil and gas servicing companies in Nigeria, is a well known car freak. But it appears his love for these wonders on wheel, which includes all brands of Rolls Royce, is waning, as he is said to be replacing them with private jets, which the affluent now call PJs.
The member of board of directors of Julius Berger has recently increased his fleet to accommodate an additional gulf stream, thereby bringing the number of his private jets to four.
Azudialu-Obiejesi, a graduate of the University of Benin, is the founder and Group Managing Director of Nestoil Plc. His other companies include: Energy Works Technology Limited, B&Q Dredging Limited, Gobowen Exploration and Production Limited, Century Power Generation Limited and Time Power Global Dynamics Limited.
He is the chairman of NECONDE, a Nestoil-led consortium, which has acquired a 45% stake in the OML 42 from Shell, Total and ENI, containing developed oil fields and gas reserves.
