Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff believes that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is a bad example for young people watching the sport.
Cruyff, 68, was speaking to Sky Sports News about yet another FA charge for Mourinho after the Chelsea manager’s comments about referee Robert Madley in his side’s 3-1 loss at home to Southampton.
The Premier League champions, who have lost four of their first eight league fixtures, find themselves languishing in 16th place, prompting some strong words from Mourinho in post-match press conferences.
‘He’s controversial,’ Cruyff, who managed and played for both Ajax and Barcelona, said to Sky Sports News.
‘Maybe because of the interest from the press, but I don’t think he is educating children to play football or educating for life.
‘He should behave better because he will be in the press all over the world,’ he added.
What do you think about that, Jose?
Oh.
