THIS is the shocking moment a football legend and his bikini-clad girlfriend were at the centre of a beach bar brawl.
Marcelo Salas had to be restrained by three burly security guards after scrapping with fellow guests at a luxury hotel.
His partner, stunning TV presenter Gianella Marengo, 29, also had to be held back during the fight in the Dominican Republic.
The incident, which was captured on video, happened at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino de Punta Cana in front of stunned guests.
The former striker, 40, was reportedly discussing rugby with another tourist when the conversation abruptly took a violent turn.
The ex-Lazio and Juventus star – and Chile's all-time record goalscorer – was then bundled to the sand and held there as he struggled.
His girlfriend was also held and she was allegedly screaming out: "Let me go, let me go, please… Let go of my hand, let me go.

Salas, who was nicknamed 'The Killer' in his playing days, and his girlfriend pleaded their innocence.
He said: "I don't mind that the images have been shared, because we didn't do anything wrong."
She added: "The only thing I tried to do was protect Marcelo because they had his head stuck in the sand and you can clearly see how they kick him when he's on the floor."

Neither Salas nor the hotel are pursing the incident.
The tourist involved has since checked out, according to reports.
